Victoria impressed me straight off the bat. I came to Victoria with a twice-reconstructed ACL, meniscus problems, spinal problems (scoliosis surgery with a fused spine and Harrington rod) and agonizing back pain. I had been to see numerous orthopedic surgeons about my various ails, though understanding my problems, none were able to pinpoint what was actually causing them, even after multiple surgeries. On our first meeting Victoria sat me down, and was able break down my issues, and most importantly explained how they were all interconnected, and why they had occurred in the first place. She explained that the hyperextension in all my joints was a big factor for all the injuries I was having, and, importantly, could have in the future. She described how we could work together to build my bodily strength to overcome the problems I was having.
Victoria did not disappoint, in fact she has surpassed my expectations. She developed a program for me that has strengthened all parts of my body (particularly my back and legs), taking into account how my body, in particular, is shaped and molded.
With her vast knowledge of how the body works, I am (finally) understanding how mine works, this is a truly liberating experience.
I have absolute trust in Victoria to guide me. Compared to other trainers I have worked with, her knowledge is second to none.
Victoria listens and pays attention. She is the consummate professional. She has understood what motivates me and constructed a program that is fun and inspiring for me.
